Functie omschrijving

The IOC department is the primary support contact for the company with a 24/7 on-site and on call rotation coverage. The Team Lead is responsible for providing effective leadership and mentoring to the members of the department that consists of an Analysts and System Engineers.

  • Tasks of the Team Lead includes monitoring and proactively resolve issues in accordance with procedures to comply with company requirements;
  • The Team Lead also focuses on leading and delivering his team’s projects related to the improvements and team’s roadmap towards infrastructure setup related to Tier 1 level;
  • Oversee the 1st line support team;
  • Managing the department, delegating assignments to the team members to ensure maximum throughput in term of team performance;
  • Personal and professional development of team members including conducting one-on-one's and participating in year-end reviews with IT Operations Manager;
  • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations;
  • Assist in compliance audits and portrait good understanding of IT policies;
  • Provide firmed, consistent and clear instructions to team;
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship;
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, communicate maintenance or incidents to the business till the point of resolution;
  • Communicate project progress on regular bases with the stakeholders and other interested parties.

Job Requirements

  • A completed education towards IT (MBO / HBO);
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or managerial role;
  • Experience with the Windows server environment;
  • Experience with Ubuntu is nice to have;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both orally and in writing;
  • Energetic, communicative personality with a customer-oriented and result-oriented attitude.
